I’m Moving to New York

I’m thinking about making a huge change in our life in the next year.  Thinking about moving to the east -coast. This idea has been brewing for some time and we have the perfect opportunity so we are jumping on it.

I’m are imagining a big space with lots of trees and serenity,  away from chaos and closer to nature.  I’ve never thought I would want to live in the country side but since homeschooling, having a serene home became one of the important setting for our family.  This suits us because we are home together 24-7.  It’s chaotic enough within our home and I can’t imagine living in the midst of fast pace life.

I long for silence and quiet streets and the four seasons. I want to raise chickens, have a garden, and raise my family away from the chaotic routine.   I want my children to get lost in the backyard of the forest.  I want them to find peace within themselves so they learn to stay calm.  I want the children to look forward to each season and make memories within them, even the harsh cold days.  I want to see my kids bundled up with rosy face and ice cold hands.  I will probably complain as I become accustomed, but will have to deal with it then. I have never in my lifetime experience the seasons or life elsewhere with my family and I’m so excited to begin this adventure together.

I’m currently dreaming to take up the train to the city and take the kids to a monthly concerts at the Carnegie Hall and have tea and shop.  I want to visit the Met museum and get lost in the ancient history artifacts. I can’t wait for my dream to become a reality.  It’s a true when they say, keep dreaming and work upon it because one day it just might become real.

Life is too short and I’m so thankful that we have this opportunity.  I’m thankful for life and I hope to inspire others to continue on building your dream because one day when you least expected, it might come true.

XOXO
